Aleisha is an Assistant Professor at Kent State University in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Brain Health Research Institute. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand before moving to the US for her postdoctoral studies and eventual faculty position at Kent. Aleisha is excited to advance the study of female reproductive health, which she believes is severely understudied and underfunded. She loves providing trainees and students with a rewarding and exciting experience in their undergraduate and graduate studies. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, theme parks, biking and hiking.
